Week 4, Thing 8

Alright, I love google reader!  What an easy way to stay up-to-date with all my blog subrscriptions.  I've got all my school blogs, family blogs, and news blogs in one easy spot.  Now on to find out what is the best blogging site to use for my classroom starting next school year!

Week 3, Thing 5

So I checked out Flickr and think it has a lot of possiblities.  I am already used to using Google's Picasa which I am more familiar and comfortable with.  The pictures that I upload to my computer and that I take with my phone are all all automatically uploaded to Picasa which is helpful for organizing and merging all my photos into one spot. 

Week 2; Thing 2

I consider myself a lifelong learner and always have.  I went back to school to get my Master's mostly because I like school!  I also started taking yoga classes a few years ago and love everything I learn about life in them and the way they make me feel.  Of the seven habits of lifelong learners, the easiest for me is 7 1/2:  Play. Playing comes naturally and is the best way to learn new things because you actually get to experience them!  The hardest for me is setting goals.  I often just engage in new activities because I want to, without necessarily thinking of a definitive goal.  And even if I have a goal, I tend to just go with the flow rather than check-in and monitor my progress in achieving my goal.
